Stuck in the mud

Nationwide set out to expand its digital presence and become more visible to pet owners searching online. The goal was to increase conversions, grow revenue through paid advertising, and create more opportunities for customers to engage with the brand across search and social channels.

Significant goals included:

  • Strengthening mobile visibility across Google, Bing, and other search engines

A comprehensive pay-per-click strategy was implemented to improve search visibility, lower acquisition costs, and drive more qualified traffic to the quote process.

  • Designing landing pages for A/B testing to increase number of users starting quote process
  • Re-wrote digital marketing strategy to include more social media channels, PPC campaigns with expanded geographical reach and new SEO tactics
  • Restructure pay-per-click campaigns for lower lead costs
  • Targeted geographical PPC campaigns and banner ads designed for remarketing and content
  • Designed new creative for social media channels such as Facebook
  • Created social media strategy and revised current editorial calendar to post more often, engaging content
